ICE(I) organize National and International Events for the advancement of Civil Engineering and its allied fields. These events serve as platforms for knowledge exchange, where professionals can share insights, expertise, and best practices, fostering continuous learning and exposure to the latest advancements in technology, research, methodologies and innovation within the industry. It also facilitates networking opportunities, allowing professionals to connect with peers, mentors, and potential collaborators, thereby expanding their professional circles and enhancing career prospects. By organizing these events, ICE(I) play a pivotal role in advancing the standards and capabilities of Civil Engineering Professionals worldwide, ultimately contributing to the resilient growth and sustainability of the built environment.
ICE(I) is driven by its synergies of academics and researches in the discipline by providing practical solutions to the funding organizations from Government Sectors, Industries, Multi-lateral Organizations and Society. ICE (I) adopts a Multidisciplinary Approach to tackle intricate issues comprehensively, leveraging the expertise of distinguished professionals that lays a foundation to the sustainable world.
• The 8th CECAR was hosted by JSCE in Tokyo, Japan from April 16th to 18th, 2019. (Resilient Infrastructures in Seamless Asia).
• The 7th CECAR was hosted by ASCE in Honolulu, USA from August 30th to 2nd September, 2016 (Building a Sustainable Infrastructure in the Asia Pacific Region).
• The 6th CECAR was hosted by HAKI in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 20th to 22nd, 2013 (Civil Engineering for a Sustainable Future).
• The 5th CECAR was hosted by EA in Sydney, Australia from August 8th to 12th, 2010 .
• The 4th CECAR was hosted by CICHE in Taipei, Taiwan from June 25th to 27th, 2007 (Working for Asian Sustainability).
• The 3rd CECAR was hosted by KSCE in Seoul, Korea from April 16th to 19th, 2004.
• The 2nd CECAR was hosted by JSCE in Tokyo, Japan from April 16th to 20th, 2001.
• The 1st CECAR was hosted by PICE in Manila, Philippines from February 19th to 20th, 1998 (Asian Infrastructure Sustainable Development and Project Management).
ICE (I) has hosted for the first time the ECM of ACECC in India from 16-17 September 2011 at Hotel Leela Kempinski, Gurugram. Almost all member economies participated, Thailand was present as an observer. The participants had a visit to Delhi’s famous tourist places and a metro ride. A cultural programme with Gala dinner was also organized by ICE (I).The rich Indian culture Heritage and cuisine and engulfed guest with its grace.
